What Is the Online Calendar?
This user-friendly online calendar makes it quick and easy to scan through different weeks, months, and years in one place. It shows the days of the week, as well as all public holidays in the English-speaking countries. Currently, holidays of the USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, India, Philippines, and South Africa are supported.
Dates with red backgrounds show the national holidays, while dates with blue backgrounds show the observed holidays (not national holidays, mostly state holidays and special days like Valentine's Day). If you click on these dates, you can see what that date is (like the New Year or Christmas).
Everything on this site is on a single page, and you don't have to leave the page to see other years or upcoming holidays in other months. The default year for the calendar is the current year, but you can easily click on other years to view their calendars without even having to leave the page.
How to Use the Calendar
Using the calendar is incredibly easy. All you need to do is visit the website and click the right and left arrows to find the date or dates you're looking for. It only takes seconds to find the right date, and it's easy to quickly move from month to month if need be. Month names are not shortened and therefore November is shown as it is; however, days are shortened so Sunday is "Su".
To see the event on a specific date, click on that date to open a modal that shows what it is. As mentioned before, reds are public holidays and blues are observances.
There are multiple calendars on this page, as the page allows you to check the calendars of English-speaking countries, as well as different years. If you want to change years, click on the year that is under the calendar.
Note: Currently, our calendar does not show the week number, but if you'd like to see that or learn it for a specific date, check our week number page instead.
